You have an opportunity to part of a world changing event.
On March 26 staff from 50 countries will be meeting in Kenya to discuss strategies and resources for reaching university students and helping them grow in their faith.
One of the resources they will be looking at is the FirstSteps app. Our global leadership team would like to see it be used globally. They want us to show a useable first draft with at least five languages by March 26.
My goal is more ambitious. I want to see it in 90+ languages.
I like FirstSteps because it is holistic. Members are encouraged to care for one another, meet needs in their community, and share with others what they are learning. The studies are easy to lead and only focus on a few Bible passages each time they meet. Members are asked each week how they plan to put into practise what they have just learnt. The translation load is small: only 2,600 words to translate. The rest is Bible text.
Do you know any of the languages that we have not yet completed?
Here are the four documents we need translated. They are only 2,600 words total:
Here is our progress. If your language is not on this list, ask us to add it. Help to reach the goal of 90+ languages.
