I love preparing for Christmas evangelistic events.
- Working together with other Christians.
- Creating an environment where non-Christians will feel welcome.
- Crafting a message that will be appealing to the people who come
- Creating an attractive invitation for my friends and neighbours.
And then there is the joy of the event itself.
- Celebrating the people who show up.
- Watching them interact with my Christian friends
- Hearing the message together
And afterwards
- Asking my friends what they thought of the message
- The hard work of cleanup (and resting from exhaustion)
Yes, I love evangelistic events and I'm going to keep doing them.
But there is something better -- and more effective: Evangelistic habits.
Evangelistic habits eat evangelistic events for lunch.
What do I mean?
