I ran out of Chinese-Englidh Gospel tracts yesterday.
My wife and I are in Singapore for 3 nights on our way to the international conference in Switzerland. I figured 12 tracts would be enough. It wasn't.
My favourite interactions:
Chris and I went to a computer Expo so I could get some more ideas for the computer club I have for primary and high school students. Chris found a great card game to teach computer skills. The creator of the card game showed us how the card game taught programming skills. He and I then talked as developers of ideas and I told him the story of how and why I created the bi-lingual Gospel tracts. He gladly took one and promised to read it.
Later on Chris and I were walking along a busy street when we noticed remote controlled boats sailing in the fountain. One represented the class of Chinese junk used to explore Africa and beyond. We had a great chat with the three men sailing their ships. This allowed us to give them each a tract.
Tonight we head to Zurich, Switzerland where I will be meeting two members of the Swiss team to talk about the MyFriends App I have been working on.
Then on to Germany for a bit of a holiday. Hope I made enough tracts for that part of the journey.
Have you thought through what you will be giving to people on the next trip you take? It is so much fun to see who God leads me to when I am traveling.
