I don't know how the people in your community are handling the news of the Corona Virus.

In my community I met a man last week who didn't want to shake my hand because he didn't want to risk catching the disease.

I understand why many people are afraid. People are dying from this disease.

I also see this as an opportunity for us to have meaningful conversations with our friends.  Moving beyond the topics that normally fill our interaction.

About a year ago I applied to become a mentor and started answering emails from people in India who had visited mystruggles.in

I am constantly amazed the opportunities this has provided to point people to Jesus.  I focus on answering questions from men who struggle with depression.

Sally* focuses on the relationship issues that women face.

In India, remaining single can be a difficult situation for women, as much cultural significance is placed on marrying well.

People came here looking for help with a variety of personal problems.  Some asked for a mentor -- and I responded.

I was amazed at how open they were about what was going on in their life.

I offered encouragement and support.  I shared what Jesus was doing in my life and some came to faith.

It has been a joy to correspond with people from another country, learning what is happening in their lives and sharing how Jesus Christ can meet their needs.
