Last night I prayed for my neighbours. Today I'd like to pray for yours.
Here is how I set the mood for last night's prayer meeting:
When people arrived they saw pictures of people scattered across a table. I asked them to pick one that caught their interest and tell the group what attracted their attention.
After we sang a few songs I told the group that I had not brought any prayer points with me. Instead I wanted them to ask God what we should pray for.
My daughter and some of her friends planned a picnic in the park near our house. She sent me an invitation and explained that the picnic was one of the steps they were taking to plant a new church. I gladly accepted the invitation, but thought nothing more about it until the morning of the picnic.
It was then that my wife asked me who I had invited to the picnic.
