I ran out

I ran out

Body:

I ran out of Chinese-Englidh Gospel tracts yesterday.

My wife and I  are in Singapore for 3 nights on our way to the international conference in Switzerland.  I figured 12 tracts would be enough.  It wasn't.

My favourite interactions:

Let's pray for your neighbours

Let's pray for your neighbours

Body:

Last night I prayed for my neighbours.  Today I'd like to pray for yours.

Here is how I set the mood for last night's prayer meeting:

When people arrived they saw pictures of people scattered across a table.  I asked them to pick one that caught their interest and tell the group what attracted their attention.

After we sang a few songs I told the group that I had not brought any prayer points with me. Instead I wanted them to ask God what we should pray for.

I almost missed this evangelistic opportunity.

My daughter and some of her friends planned a picnic in the park near our house.  She sent me an invitation and explained that the picnic was one of the steps they were taking to plant a new church. I gladly accepted the invitation, but thought nothing more about it until the morning of the picnic.

It was then that my wife asked me who I had invited to the picnic.

Ouch.  I had not invited anyone.
