This is the week to talk with your Indian friends about Jesus

October 19 is the Indian celebration of Deepavali, celebrating the victory of light over darkness, good over evil.
Here is a card you can give to your Indian friends which tells them in a culturally sensitive way that Jesus is the light of the world, the one who has overcome the darkness.
Don't have an Indian friend? Here is your excuse to go to an Indian restuarant.
The focus of this webinar are on the three things you can do to set up an environment where your friends will want to know about Jesus. They sound simple: love, pray and care. The challenge is actually doing them.
In the webinar I will give you some practical tips. I am also offering ongoing coaching because I know it takes time to develop or improve habits.

Recently, one of our team members, Ryan, was talking to a 28 year old mate of his who had just started his own business. It wasn’t the money that motivated him to launch out on his own. He believed that the universe was giving him signs.
There is a lot of interest in spiritual things in Australia. But a lot of that interest has the wrong focus.
How do we interest people like Ryan’s mate in learning more about Jesus?
getting robbed gave me an opportunity to talk about Jesus.

It was raining last Friday night when Chris and I pulled up to our friend's house. Exhausted from a full day of activity followed by an evening prayer conference, we were looking forward to sliding into their guest bedroom and falling asleep. I grabbed our suitcase and ran to the door.
In the morning we woke to discover that someone had smashed our car's side window. Chris's purse with my wallet and phone were gone. Silly us. Not the things we should have left in the car, but we didn't want to get the purse wet.
