It's nice to have a document, but even better to put the ABC's into practise.

Saturday I almost bought gas the wrong way.

It is cold here in Wisconsin and I was so tempted to put my credit card into the slot at the pump and zip on my way. 

But then God convicted me.  Didn't you tell people at the training this week not to do that?  It doesn't build relationships.

So I put my credit card back in my pocket, pumped the gas, and then went inside to pay.

A simple, "Has it been busy today?" launched us into a great conversation that moved from casual to meaningful to spiritual in a short three minutes.  There was no one else inside the station, so our conversation went on even longer into my equipping him to share the Gospel with his friends.

That got me thinking: have I told you about the Conversation Quadrants yet?  Maybe I should focus on that in my next email. It is one of the first three tools I teach people who want to connect their friends and family to Jesus and other believers.

Let's pray:

"Lord Jesus, thank you for the many doors you open for us to talk about your with our family, friends and community.  Transform us so that we are both sensitive and bold.  Keep us from rushing around on our own schedule, so busy that we miss the people around us who are hurting and need the transformation that only your Holy Spirit can give.  We will give you all the praise for these changes.  Amen".
