Connecting Muslims to Jesus #2/3

Connecting Muslims to Jesus #2/3

Last week I wrote you about a collection of poems called The Straight Path.

Have you started to read them yet?

If you followed that link, you would have also noticed a link to the Bible.  A very special Bible.

We call it The New Creation Bible for Muslims

Here is how Dr Phil Goble translated Exodus 6:1-3:

1 And تتراجراماتون said unto Musa, Now shalt thou see what I will do to Pharaoh: for by a strong hand shall he let them go, and by a strong hand shall he drive them out of his land.

2 And Elokim spoke unto Musa, and said unto him, I am تتراجراماتون:

3 and I appeared unto Ibrahim (Abraham), unto Ishaq (Isaac), and unto Ya’qub (Jacob), as Elokim Almighty; but by my name تتراجراماتون I was not known to them.

Why these words?  To make the Bible familiar and attractive to Muslims.  They know of Musa (Moses), Ibrahim (Abraham),  Ishaq (Isaac), and Ya’qub (Jacob).  In The New Creation Bible for Muslims they can read the truth about all these people.

Dr Goble and I are hosting a webinar on How can the things of the Bible and the church be made familiar and attractive to Muslims? on January 28th and 29th.

If you can't make any of the sessions listed, sign up anyway.  That way I can send you a link to the recording.

We want you to be effective in connecting your Muslim friends to Jesus.
