That resource was free because someone else had provided the funds for us to make it and put it on the web.

They paid it forward.

Today I want to tell you an opportunity you have to resource thousands of people who are starting new churches in Africa and other continents.

When COVID hit Ethiopia, our training teams switched from live training to text. They broke our training down into SMS size messages.  Working together they were able to send out 65,000 messages each day.  God blessed and enabled the people they trained to start 697 new churches in six months.

This success convinced Campus Crusade for Christ staff across the African continent to pursue remote training.  However, the options that we use here in Australia, like Zoom meetings, do not work in Africa.  Data is too expensive and the internet is unreliable in many locations.

Our international leadership team asked if I could come up with a solution that would work on mobile phones and be easy to translate into multiple languages used in Africa. I have provided a way for people to download the study notes in advance and then fill in their answers on their phone while listening to the other students on WhatsAp.

Now we are starting on the French edition. Would you prayerfully consider helping to fund the Bible studies that will be used in French-speaking Africa?  This region has great potential. In four of the countries less than 1% of the people currently follow Jesus.

Like most missionaries, my ability to work on projects like this is only possible because of people like you who invest financially. It is going to take $4,525 to produce all the materials for French-speaking Africa and put them online so they can be read on a mobile phone in areas where the internet is unreliable.
