A powerful night to pray for Muslims

A powerful night to pray for Muslims

If I could pray only one night a year for Muslims, it would be tonight.

Tonight many Muslims will celebrate Laylat al-Qadr — the “Night of Power.” It is considered the holiest night of the year in Islam. Muslims believe that prayers offered on this night carry extraordinary spiritual significance, so millions of people will be praying and seeking God with unusual sincerity.

When people are searching for God, it is a powerful moment for us to pray that He will reveal Himself to them.

Over the years there have been many testimonies of Muslims encountering Jesus during this night—sometimes through dreams and visions, sometimes through Scripture, and sometimes through a Christian friend who helps them understand who Jesus truly is.

Would you join us in prayer tonight?

Some of my friends are praying for three hours. Others may only have five minutes. Every prayer matters.
Here is a short video that will help guide you as you pray.

You might also pray that:

  • God would reveal Himself to those who are sincerely searching.
  • Many Muslims would encounter Jesus and discover His love and forgiveness.
  • Believers living among Muslim communities would have courage and wisdom as they share their faith.
  • Families would begin exploring the message of the gospel together.

Across the Muslim world, thousands—and likely hundreds of thousands—of people from Muslim backgrounds are discovering Jesus each year. I look forward to the day when every Muslim knows someone who is truly following Jesus and has the opportunity to respond to Him.

Thank you for joining us in prayer and this vision.
