Sharing the Gospel with our South Asian neighbours

Sharing the Gospel with our South Asian neighbours

Many of us have South Asian neighbours, workmates, classmates or friends.

We may genuinely care about them, but still feel unsure about how to talk naturally about Jesus across cultural and religious differences.

Later this month, I will be helping to teach an online course called Love Your Neighbor. It is a practical training designed to help Christians build caring relationships with South Asian people and introduce them to Jesus with gentleness and respect.

We will explore how to listen well, understand another person’s background, ask thoughtful questions and look for natural opportunities to share Jesus.

The sessions will include interactive teaching, videos, discussion, practical tools and simple action steps. Although the course focuses on South Asian neighbours, many of the principles can also help us relate more sensitively to people from other cultures.

INFO AND REGISTRATION

More than 6,300 Christians in several countries have already completed this training. I am looking forward to learning alongside you as we consider how to love our South Asian neighbours well and help them take one more step toward Jesus.

Please feel free to forward this invitation to other Christians who may be interested.

Lord Jesus, help us to notice the people you have placed around us. Teach us to listen, to love them sincerely and to speak about you with gentleness, courage and respect.
