Starting spiritual conversations

Starting spiritual conversations

Last Saturday our Indian neighbour invited my family over for afternoon tea.  It was such a great spread that I skipped my an evening meal.

The conversation centred around the food.  Nice safe casual conversation.

I wanted to turn it into a spiritual conversation, but I could hardly get a word in edge-wise.

Finally Karim invited me take a look at his pool in the back yard.  It is cracked and needs to be removed.

Being alone, I had space to ask questions.  Soon I used a line that Cathy Douglass taught me in our April webinar:

"Karim, what does your name mean?"

That launched us into a wonderful spiritual discussion.

Cathy has such great insights into sharing Jesus with our Hindu friends.  That is why I've invited Her to give a series of online webinars in May.

We are going to do  the full "Love Your Neighbour" webinar over four Tuesday nights from 7 to 10 pm (Sydney time).  That is a total of 12 hours of interaction. An opportunity for you to consider how well you are really communicating with the Indians in your community.  An opportunity to ask your probing questions.

We've decided to make the webinar series free. We will send you an electronic copy of the webinar manual which you can print out if you want (or your can pay me $25 to print and mail).

Which nights should you set aside?

Tuesday 15 May

Tuesday 22 May

Tuesday 29 May

Tuesday 5 June

I am looking forward to what we will be learning and the difference it will make when we talk to our Indian neighbours about Jesus.
