Have you every wondered?

Have dyou ever wondered if anyone reads the evangelistic material you give them?

Throughout our recent trip to the USA we gave people cards inviting them to visit an evangelistic website: everystudent.com

We gave cards to the people who served us in restuarants, petrol stations, stores and other locations.

 The last night we were in America we stayed in a hotel in Simi Valley.  Alfred*, who was working at the front was such a help.  Friendly and outgoing, he let us check in early, pointed us to the swimming pool, and made sure we had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay.

As we were going out to dinner I asked, "Will we see you tomorrow?"

"No, I'm off tomorrow", he replied.

 "Well then let me give you something today", I said as I pulled out my wallet.  Inside I had a business card for everystudent.com

"Here is a website that I think you will really enjoy", I continued.

Before my wife and I could get to the door he shouted out to me, "I already know my purpose.  It is to serve other people".

I gave him a thumbs up as we walked through the door.

Then I began thinking, where did Alex* get the idea of telling me about his purpose in life.

And it hit me.  That was the lead article on the website.

Between the time I handed him the card and our walking to the door Alex* had opened the website and started to read it.

I know not everyone is as fast as Alex* to go to the website.  In fact, some never will.  But enough do to make it one of my worthwhile evangelism strategies.
