What if your friend doesn't believe God exists?

What if your friend doesn't believe God exists?

I sent you a link last week to an important file, but some people told me it didn’t work. If you’ve ever been asked, “Where did Jesus say, ‘I am God, worship me’?” here’s the corrected link to a helpful article: The Deity of Christ (PDF).

My wife Chris loves to connect with people. While we were waiting for a friend the other night, she thought of our friend Lon*. We’ve known her for a few years and have had good conversations about faith. Chris sent her a link to an article from EveryPerson.com about finding purpose in life.

Lon replied kindly but clearly: she doesn’t believe God exists. That raises a big question for all of us: what do you say when a friend tells you, “I don’t believe in God”?

I’ll be holding one-hour webinars next week to show how we’ve been helping friends experience God’s reality, not just hear our arguments. My hope is that you’ll come away encouraged and better equipped to engage with your own friends who don't yet believe God exists.

You can check times and sign up for one: Click here to register and then invite others to join you.

Let’s pray:

Lord Jesus, thank You that You love our friends and neighbours. Show us how to help them see Your reality. Give us wisdom, patience, and courage. Amen.

I'm looking forward to the webinar next week.
