Good morning, it's Bob.
My friend Ryan goes about sharing his faith a lot differently than I do. Makes sense. He lives in a different type of neighbourhood.
In my neighborhood almost everyone values God. They have pictures of idols, statues of Buddah or Mohammed, maybe even incense sticks. Parents visit the temple or mosque regularly. Many of their ideas are wrong, but most people respect Jesus. This makes it easy for me to say "I heard an interesting story about Jesus this morning", and launch into a Bible story.
In Ryan's neighbourhood most people have more respect for the Tooth Fairy than they do for God. At least the Tooth Fairy is good for motivating children to lose thier teeth.
Ryan's challenge is how to make the unthinkable, thinkable.
Want to know how he gets people to begin thinking about God?
