Last week I made a cultural mistake in the email I sent you.
As Sunghee pointed out, the image looks Japanese not Korean.
That is the drawback of using AI to create images.
But it was also a reminder that we are going to make lots of mistakes as we share the Gospel with people from other cultures. Hopefully I did better today.

Now, to the question of the week. What kept Steven from sharing his faith?
Steven became a Christian here in Sydney, Australia during high school. He spoke fluent Chinese so we had high hopes that when his family went back to China to visit relatives that he would be able to tell them about his new found faith.

When his family returned to Sydney we were eager to hear his report.
But is was not at all what we were expecting.
Steven had the desire to share the Gospel, but he lacked the words to express it in Chinese.
That was our fault. We only used English materials when we discipled him.
Since then we have used bi-lingual materials to disciple people whenever possible.
The lesson I learnt from Steven is what drives me to create resources for you at hereslife.com.
Let's pray:
"Lord Jesus, thank you for the many bi-lingual and multi-lingual people you are bringing into our lives. Give us wisdom in how to best present the Gospel to them. Let them see our love for the people in our neighbourhoods and our desire to see Your Kingdom Come. Lead us to bi-lingual materials that will give them the vocabulary to share the message of Jesus whereever they go. Thank you for the amazing opportunties you have given us to communicate by text and voice around the world. Amen"
Next week is the last of the six habits. Someone suggested I should bundle them up and make them available as a Pdf. Would that be helpful to you?
